BG Global Partners (BGGP) is a global consulting firm that offers services in international and global education, leadership and management, governmental relations, public policy and international development. As a co-founder & senior consultant for BGGP, Dr. Guo-Brennan provides consulting services on international education, global engagement, internationalization, research, training and culturally responsive college planning for immigrant youth and families.

The Canadian Commission for UNESCO is a “network of networks” that contributes to the development of peaceful, inclusive and sustainable societies through the sharing of knowledge and good practices, both locally and globally. As a member of the Education Sectoral commission (2017-2019), Dr. Guo-Brennan provides recommendations on UNESCO programs and activities in Canada, contribute to advancing reflection on specific issues on Education for ALL, Global Citizenship Education and Indigenous Education, and actively participates in consultations, identifying partnership opportunities and strategic partnerships, etc.

UNICEF is a non-profit humanitarian organization focusing on saving children’s lives around the globe. UNICEF Canada is one of UNICEF's 36 National Committees. The Global Classroom is UNICEF Canada’s program to support and expand teaching and learning for children’s rights and global citizenship through a children’s rights approach to global education. As a Global Classroom Curriculum Consultant, Dr. Guo-Brennan collaborated with the Education Manager and developed the first Canadian teacher education textbook/resource focusing on education for global citizenship. This course has been adopted as a core course for UPEI’s teacher preparation program and focuses on integrating global perspectives and concepts into teaching and learning.

BCI

The Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire (BCI) is a voluntary coalition of Québec universities and its overall mission is to promote dialogue between Québec university administrators, to support their deliberations on joint initiatives, and to make services available to the universities that they need to perform their functions, particularly teaching, research and administration.

The Center for Public Service at Troy University provides expert assistance to Alabama state and local government agencies as well as nonprofit organizations in the state.  The Center supports Troy University's strong commitment to community outreach. As an outside consultant, Dr. Guo-Brennan provides educational research and analysis to the center’s clients.

Strengthening Capacity in Basic Education in Western China Project (2001-2007) is a six year 12-million bilateral international development project co-funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Government of the People’s Republic of China. As the Education Program Officer and the International Development Consultant for this project, Dr. Guo-Brennan participated in project annual planning, budgeting and management, coordinated and provided technical support for project stakeholders, promoted and shared project work/information with governmental and non-governmental organizations, including MOE, DOE, World Bank, UNICEF, UNESCO, DFID etc., and monitored and assessed the implementation of the face-to-face and distance education teacher training models/resources and learning support centers in 360 project schools
